If heaven had a taste this would be it. Was riding through and saw this place. I've always heard of it. We stopped and i got the hot honey chicken on Biscuit and it was soooo good. And to be honest you can really eat just one and be satisfied. Stop by.ypy won't be mad

We ordered the Fried Pickles, Hush Puppies with Tartar, Mac 'n Cheese, Cornbread, Biscuits & Gravy, Bourbon Pecan Pie, and Key Lime Crumble Pie. This is the first and only good southern restaurant I've found after years of searching in NY. The hush puppies were the best part along with the pies! It's the best birthday meal I could've asked for!

Sometimes you get a craving for true Southern comfort food and this hit the mark! We went all in for our girls brunch and walked out really satisfied. Here's what we got aside from our Bloody Maries: -Chicken Biscuit: the hot sauce was a nice touch and was nice and crispy -Burnt End Baked Beans: my favorite item we ate by far!!! Must-have side!!! -Mac and Cheese: my go-to comfort food -Coleslaw: didn't eat this as a preference but my friend enjoyed -Bacon: pretty good!! -Mashed Potatoes: yummy, would've preferred with the gravy but that add-on was quite expensive so just went without it -Donut: my least favorite - would recommend swapping out for a pie for something sweet

We made a reservation but were in the area sooner and therefore went ahead to see if we could have a table, or wait until the time (no problem at all bc looks like a good area to walk around for a bit). The host was super nice and said she was going to check - came back and had a small table in the back for us. The place is really small, two areas connected by a tiny hall but is still cozy to walk and sit. The food was truly superb. I had the chicken sandwich and it was the best I have ever had - the cutlet portion was good, incredibly moist, cooked through and perfectly fried on the outside. If I were to be picky, I'd say the sauce was only in the middle so I got the full flavorful bite until I made it to the middle and I was I had tasted everything since the beginning. The French fries were well fried too and thin which I love. I absolutely loved the cornbread but the honey butter was the star of the show. I wanted to bring it home and put it on everything! The hush puppies were nothing special, but my partner loved his biscuit chicken and said he would be back. We wish we could have tried any of the deliciously- looking desserts but we were so full. Will update when we have the chance to try them!

I came back here with a friend to have a mid-afternoon treat. The biscuit, while not as good as I remember, was still flaky and warm. We also shared a slice of the apple pie, which was excellent. We sat outside in the covered portion on the curb. There were heat lamps, so it wasn't too cold (about 55° F when I was there). Service was good.

Staff and service far exceeded my expectations however the chicken was just a tad dry. Don't get me wrong, quality of food for the price is incredible. If not for the insane traffic and difficulty of parking around the area, I'd be back more frequently. Overall a fantastic experience and didn't break the bank.

This used to be my favorite restaurant when I didn't diet! I haven't been going back literally because everytime I used to come here I would eat my heart out. Now after 3-4 years of not going, I decided to go back to my roots with my now southern partner and eat my favorite chicken biscuit in all of the world! Immediately my eyes were wide awake when I saw my favorite chicken biscuit! Dripping with tons of honey butter on the bottom of the plate and seeing the steam come out made me speechless. I would recommend eating this right away as when it starts getting cold ( we ate outside ) the magic starts to disappear and I notice more of the honey which I'm not a sweet tooth so I didn't have the same flavor as when I used to come here. I remember it being a lot more spicy. So I would recommend adding the hot sauce to it so it balances it out. My theory is that the neighborhood sort of changed and I guess more people complained about how spicy it used to be??? Not sure but I missed how spicy it once was. It's always CHEAPER TO GET A SUPERBOWL if you want to try the sides. 3 sides + a biscuit or a cornbread. The biscuits here are to die for but we tried the cornbread for the first time and I think my partner said it was too dry for her taste and also wasn't sweet or savory so they didn't get a point for that. Please stick to the biscuit and honey butter and jam! The hush puppies were not that great because it was plain with a side of tartar sauce which isn't normally southern according to my partner and was just weird for her. I thought it was ok but maybe the tartar sauce should be saved for catfish. (The catfish is SO GOOD HERE) Mac and cheese is my all time favorite and you must add their hot sauce to it. It's something that comforts me to my bone and this will never be replaced in my heart. The collards was also amazing! Biscuits and gravy were great as well they're not that meaty which is what I like and it's herby and filled with flavors of rosemary and sage! Love! The pie was also so tasty. The crust was the selling point of how crunchy and crispy it was! You don't really need ice cream since it already comes with whipped cream on top. I honestly had a great time here, dog friendly in their heated patio and you can't go wrong with most of their food. I remember I had a great time scarfing down their catfish box and fried chicken box in the past along with ordering their hot chocolate in the winters. Service is wonderful and would love to be back once again to try something else.

"Mixed Feelings at Pie&Thigh Brooklyn" My visit to Pie&Thigh in Brooklyn had its ups and downs. Despite having high expectations, the chicken turned out a bit dry and lacked the expected flavor punch. The cozy ambiance and dessert were a plus, but I hoped for a tastier experience. While it didn't fully meet my expectations, others might have a different take.
